Curtis is a passionate, driven student who has been in the 49ers STEM Leadership Institute for 6 years. Throughout his 6 years in the program, he has embraced the 9 core values and grown as a student and a leader. As a student, Curtis has taken 6 AP courses and 7 Honors courses, also earning the AP Scholar award. In addition to SLI, Curtis is also heavily involved with student government. In his time at Santa Clara High School, he's served as Sophomore Class Communications/Publicist, ASB Treasurer, and Senior Class Secretary/Treasurer. As an experienced member in leadership, he has planned numerous class activities and school-wide events. In his spare time, Curtis enjoys giving back by assisting the Frosh/Soph Boy's Basketball Team he's played on for two years at school as an assistant coach, volunteering at practices and games. Curtis is also the current co-president of the Chinese Student Association.
