Dana has been a driven member of the 49ers STEM Leadership Institute since her freshman year of high school, during which she participated in Tech Challenge, Maker Faire, World of Seven Billion, and more. In addition, she has co-founded Notes for Support, an organization that has sent over 12,000 letters to Covid-19 patients and healthcare workers, and is the co-president of Hack Club, a nonprofit.
 
Dana is also a co-lead at the Santa Clara County Mental Health Youth Advisory Group. She hosts general meetings weekly and works alongside county officials to provide ideas to increase wellness and mental health support in K-12 schools across the Bay Area. In the committee, she is currently helping multiple schools initiate wellness centers on their campuses. In her free time, Dana enjoys reading, listening to music, and watching Youtube. After high school, Dana is looking forward to finding a career that inspires her, traveling to all seven continents, and seeking opportunities in which she can help others.
