Over the course of his years in the 49ers STEM Leadership Institute (SLI), Dauntae has shown a lot of growth both in academics and leadership skills. Highlights of his time in the program include the San Jose Tech Museum's Tech Challenge and the tight bonds that he has created with his SLI cohort. With the help of the program and his classmates, he has ventured out of his comfort zone, developing in areas of communication, risk-taking, initiative, and leadership. His growth in these areas has allowed him to serve as Sophomore Class Vice President and Senior Class Spirit Representative. Outside of school, Dauntae enjoys playing basketball, spending time with friends, and playing video games.
