As a member of the 49ers STEM Leadership Institute for six years, Natalie has grown both as a student and as a leader. The STEM program has provided her with many opportunities, such as participating in the Tech Challenge for three years, Makers Faire for two years, and ExploraVision for one year. Natalie was particularly driven by two of STEM's core values--leadership and initiative-- and by her sophomore year of highschool, she led a successful campaign to becoming the class of 2021's vice president. Since then, Natalie has also served as ASB treasurer in her junior year and as a community service representative in her senior year.
In addition, Natalie is the passionate co-president of the Best Buddies Club at Santa Clara High School, which connects and creates friendships between children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Outside of school, one of Natalie's biggest passions is dance, which has been a significant part of her life since she started at the age of four. Natalie has been a competitive dancer since sixth grade and is currently on the Nor Cal Dance Art’s Apprentice Company. In addition to dance, Natalie enjoys watching sunsets and traveling. In the future, Natalie hopes to make a positive impact on society.
