Pranav G.N.

Curious, Introspective, Easy-going

We came into a broken world. And we're the cleanup crew.

- Kanye Omari West

Pranav is a determined member of the 49ers STEM Leadership Institute (SLI). Ever since he was little, he has shown an interest math and science through school classes and extracurriculars. During his high school years, he has narrowed his purview of career paths to medicine after being exposed to robotics competitions, engineering fairs, and hospital observerships. The amalgamation of his experiences in these activities and rigorous high school classes have materialized in the form of leadership and persistence skills. Following a medical summer camp, he became dead-set on his path. After high school, Pranav hopes to major in biochemistry and eventually become a physician. In his free time, he enjoys practicing the piano and violin, playing tennis for the school team, and watching cricket matches.
The 49ers STEM Leadership Institute (49ers SLI) provides multi-year, year-round academic support, STEM enrichment, skills training, and leadership opportunities to students in middle and high school. Students, who are with the program for six years from 7th through 12th grade, commit annually to 300+ hours of program learning time in addition to their typical school hours. By cultivating student mastery in STEM subjects and in key skill areas, the program prepares students for college and empowers them to pursue their passions; so that they may become the well-rounded leaders of the future. The 49ers STEM Leadership Institute is made possible by the strong partnership between Silicon Valley Education Foundation, 49ers Foundation, Chevron, and the Santa Clara Unified School District.
