Since joining the 49ers STEM Leadership Institute (SLI) in eighth grade, Stephanie has been able to be exposed to various STEM fields. Taking advantage of the vast opportunities presented to her, her work has been recognized in various competitions, such as earning FIRST Tech Challenge’s Qualifying Winning Alliance Award and Honorable Mention at Synopsys Science Fair. In academics, Stephanie has challenged herself and demonstrated her dedication and ambition by taking 20+ honors and AP courses as well as dual enrolling at a local community college.

In school, Stephanie has been actively involved in clubs such as Bruin Book Club, Drama Club, Link Crew, and more. Notably, Stephanie has also started the initiative of teaching and advocating for financial literacy in the district. This drive has led her to volunteer at various organizations dedicated to empowering youth through education in business and finance.

Most of her time outside of school is dedicated to volunteering at her local Church’s Catechism office. One of her proudest accomplishments there was leading the Catechism staff in the formulation of an internationally recognized Marian Consecration program for children.

In her free time, Stephanie relishes watching “slime tutorials,” having petty debates at the dinner table, and hosting dance parties.
