Tyler is a proud 6-year member of the 49ers STEM Leadership Institute. He has been participating in competitions such as the First Tech Challenge and Synopsys Science Fair throughout high school.

Tyler also found a passion for digital arts through various classes at Santa Clara High School and now runs his own Etsy shop to sell his work. In addition, he's been working at the Cerulean Dental Spa throughout high school, taking on various technology projects for the office.

Since Freshman year, he's been with the Santa Clara High School Track and Field team, running long-distance events. Tyler has also been volunteering with Foster the City for the past few years, using his design talents to help the non-profit find homes for foster youth. After high school, Tyler hopes to study design and become a product designer. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports and watching movies with friends and family.
