Reserved, Collected, Driven

"Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare

The lone and level sands stretch far away."

- Percy Bysshe Shelley

Vincent is a collected, self-driven individual with a deep aptitude and love for writing and history. Meticulous in his work, he strives for perfection, always seeking to improve himself.

As a long-term member of his school's newspaper publication, The Roar, Vincent has proven himself capable of meeting journalistic standards with a wide array of articles and photos to his name. He has received accolades, attended workshops, and interns at the local newspaper The Silicon Valley Voice, hoping to one day enter the same field on a professional level.

Aside from his affinity for the humanities, Vincent's interest in STEM and engineering has continued to be a defining constituent of his life; he is now in his fourth year as part of a robotics team and in his third working at a CNC machining shop.

The 49ers STEM Leadership Institute (49ers SLI) provides multi-year, year-round academic support, STEM enrichment, skills training, and leadership opportunities to students in middle and high school. Students, who are with the program for six years from 7th through 12th grade, commit annually to 300+ hours of program learning time in addition to their typical school hours. By cultivating student mastery in STEM subjects and in key skill areas, the program prepares students for college and empowers them to pursue their passions; so that they may become the well-rounded leaders of the future. The 49ers STEM Leadership Institute is made possible by the strong partnership between Silicon Valley Education Foundation, 49ers Foundation, Chevron, and the Santa Clara Unified School District.
