BIOGRAPHY

Gauri has been a part of the SLI community for the past four years, during which she has grown a wide range of skills and gained invaluable experiences. Through summer sessions and extended hours, she became more experienced in using advanced tools like 3D printers and laser cutters in the Fab Lab. These experiences also enabled her to undertake impactful projects, including Project Invent, Synopsys, and Biomedical Youth Labs.
The diverse opportunities at SLI helped Gauri discover her passion for science and her dedication to helping others. In her junior year, she co-founded Biomedical Youth Labs, a project designed to provide younger students with accessible resources in the biomedical field. Today, this initiative has grown into a legacy project and is continuing to expand.
Beyond STEM, Gauri holds a leadership position in a girl-led VEX robotics team, is a dedicated Bharatanatyam dancer, and is in a Girl Scout troop. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, reading, watching movies, and spending time with friends.
Gauri would like to thank everyone at SLI for the countless opportunities and resources that have shaped her journey, providing experiences that are invaluable to her.
