" Bien is a senior at Santa Clara High and a medical researcher at the Helms Laboratory. He is currently working on identifying the stem cell niche in self-regenerating mouse incisors in order to one day regrow vital organs.

 

While not at school or in the lab, you can find Bien at the pool. Being the captain of both water polo and swim, Bien loves to pass a ball around with teammates or chat with them as they gasp for air after a hard swim set.

 

In his free time, Bien enjoys reading books, with his favorites being: Gone With the Wind and East of Eden. And much to the dismay of his stomach, hanging out with friends at Taco Bell."
