BIOGRAPHY

Through his 6 years in the 49ers STEM Leadership Institute (SLI), Bryan Allas has developed his programming expertise and other technical engineering skills through opportunities such as FIRST Tech Challenge, The Tech Challenge, and Project Pay It Forward. He founded the Computer-Aided Design Club and ascended it to educate over 20 active members with weekly meetings. This success eventually led him to expand and founded STEM Librigade, where he and others hosted workshops on STEM topics obtained from SLI at local libraries and elementary schools. Bryan ultimately plans to study computer science at a four-year university and have a career in the tech field.
Aside from academics, Bryan has also dedicated his time to sports. He sprinted for track as a freshman and started playing tennis in his sophomore year, where he won the Most Improved Player award. Bryan also enjoys playing badminton, mountain biking around the bay, and watching the NBA. He has also devoted seven years to Boy Scout Troop 611 in San Jose Japantown, where he achieved Eagle Rank with many campouts, community service, and leadership positions such as Senior Patrol Leader.
