Ethan has been with the 49ers STEM Leadership Institute from 7th grade. He's pursued his passion for entrepreneurship early on, starting his own reselling business in freshman year and working at a local Poke restaurant. At Santa Clara High, Ethan has been involved in the Varsity Tennis team and held officer positions school clubs at Santa Clara High such as We the People and Key Club.

Ethan has given back to his community through preparing middle school students for competitive math competitions such as the AMC 8 and as a founding member of the Service Learning and Mentorship (SLAM) program. In his free time Ethan enjoys learning new recipes to cook and watching sports. He's grateful for the experiences gained throughout his 6 years in SLI and is looking forward to studying Business Administration at USC next year.

The 49ers STEM Leadership Institute (49ers SLI) provides multi-year, year-round academic support, STEM enrichment, skills training, and leadership opportunities to students in middle and high school. Students, who are with the program for six years from 7th through 12th grade, commit annually to 300+ hours of program learning time in addition to their typical school hours. By cultivating student mastery in STEM subjects and in key skill areas, the program prepares students for college and empowers them to pursue their passions; so that they may become the well-rounded leaders of the future. The 49ers STEM Leadership Institute is made possible by the strong partnership between Silicon Valley Education Foundation, 49ers Foundation, Chevron, and the Santa Clara Unified School District.
