Aryanna Morte is a passionate advocate for STEM and computer science, and the impact it can have to change people’s lives. Her journey has been shaped by her passion through innovation, resilience, and empathy, qualities that drive her dedication to making a meaningful impact with technology.

She has channeled her determination for problem solving through various projects such as Pay it Forward and Project Invent. Creating a CARE Watch to help those with anxiety, and teaching children the innovative power of STEM, she hopes to address real-life issues and provide motivation and ambition to her peers.

Beyond the realm of STEM, she has been a member of the Santa Clara High Girls’ Tennis and Basketball team, embracing values of perseverance, discipline, and hardwork. One of her most fulfilling experiences has been volunteering to provide gifts to children in low-income communities, ensuring they feel seen and valued.
Her hobbies include reading books, traveling, and hanging out with her friends. Being in a variety of clubs allows her to form new connections, and build relationships with her peers. She aspires to harness the power of coding to create solutions that bridge gaps and foster inclusivity, whether in education, healthcare, or beyond.

The 49ers STEM Leadership Institute (49ers SLI) provides multi-year, year-round academic support, STEM enrichment, skills training, and leadership opportunities to students in middle and high school. Students, who are with the program for six years from 7th through 12th grade, commit annually to 300+ hours of program learning time in addition to their typical school hours. By cultivating student mastery in STEM subjects and in key skill areas, the program prepares students for college and empowers them to pursue their passions; so that they may become the well-rounded leaders of the future. The 49ers STEM Leadership Institute is made possible by the strong partnership between Silicon Valley Education Foundation, 49ers Foundation, Chevron, and the Santa Clara Unified School District.
