Jonathan Thomas is a driven high school student at Santa Clara High School, renowned for his passion for technology, innovation, and problem-solving. With a weighted GPA of 4.31, Jonathan has excelled in challenging coursework such as AP Computer Science A, AP Calculus BC, and AP Physics 1. His early fascination with building—once sparked by assembling Legos—has evolved into a profound commitment to using technology to solve real-world problems.
Jonathan’s hands-on experience spans prestigious programs including Real Time Innovations, Stanford’s Clinical Neuroscience Immersion Experience, and Amazon Open Innovation at Lab 126, where he contributed to developing cutting-edge solutions. Beyond academics, he demonstrates leadership as Treasurer of his school’s Computer Science Club and has earned multiple awards in STEM competitions, including the Greene Scholars Science Fair Grand Prize and the Synopsys Bob Zeidman Award.
A dedicated community volunteer and athlete, Jonathan also plays competitive soccer and actively engages in initiatives with the California Scholarship Federation and the 49ers STEM Leadership Institute.
