BIOGRAPHY

Tanvi, a member of Santa Clara High School's Class of 2025, is a driven and accomplished student with a passion for STEM and community service. As part of the prestigious 49ers STEM Leadership Institute, she has taken various advanced courses, including AP Chemistry, AP Biology, and AP Calculus. Tanvi's academic skill extends beyond the classroom, as she has a published research paper on MRSA in the National High School Journal of Science.

Her leadership abilities are shown through her roles as president of the Indian Student Association and event coordinator for the Jashan Bollywood Dance Team. Tanvi's commitment to innovation is demonstrated by her award-winning projects, including a voice-controlled prosthetic hand and an anxiety attack watch, for which she submitted a patent application.

Tanvi's dedication to community service is exemplified by her involvement with Empower and Excel, where she has contributed 100+ hours and received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award. She also co-founded Project Pay-It-Forward: Biomedical Youth Labs, a non-profit organization providing hands-on science experiences to local students. As a two-sport athlete in cross country and track and field, Tanvi demonstrates her well-roundedness and commitment to personal growth.
