During her six years in the 49ers STEM Leadership Institute program, Risha has acquired a vast amount of knowledge that she continues to apply to her reality. Due to her involvement in the program, Risha has been able to learn more about technologies such as the laser cutter, ShopBot, 3D printer, and Vinyl cutter and utilized this knowledge at Tech Challenge, Maker Faire, and FIRST Lego League. 

Aside from her focus on SLI, Risha is heavily involved in her community. She has been the publicist for the SCHS Red Cross club for three years and a journalist and marketing officer at Crossroads Initiative, a student-run mental health organization, for two years. Turning to sports, Risha's biggest passion is volleyball. She has played the sport for eight years, even traveling to various states for competitions. In the future, Risha hopes to study biochemistry with an emphasis on criminology in order to become a forensic scientist.
