As part of the 49ers STEM Leadership Institute for the last 4 years, Keira has gained new opportunities that have shaped her into a collaborative and passionate individual, leading her to major in computer science and data science.

She has participated in Synopsys Science Fair, First Tech Challenge, and Project Pay-It-Forward. Keira is a member of the STEM Circle of Friends program which brings weekly STEM workshops to special education students at elementary schools. Furthermore, Keira is Co-Vice President of the Data Science club and Treasurer of the Animal Assisted Happiness club. 

 

Outside of academics, Keira has been on the SCHS Varsity Cross Country and Track and Field teams for the past 4 years, has qualified to CCS for 3 years, and has won numerous community runs. She is also a Youth Ambassador at a nonprofit called Animal Assisted Happiness where she mentors volunteers on how to care for the animals and goes on private visits to help children become more comfortable around animals. In her free time, Keira enjoys hanging out with her friends, going to the beach, and giving back to her community.
