For a peculiar 5 years, Kaitlyn has been a part of the SLI program. Throughout these 5 years, they have learned where their passions lie, and have developed bonds with friends they would have otherwise never met. They worked with various different machines, including getting a pancake from the pancake bot. Accelerated programming encouraged them to partake in more in-depth math and science, leading to their love for both subjects. They plan to major in Meteorology or similar, and strive to become either the researcher or the local TV meteorologist in future years. 

Outside of the program, Kaitlyn enjoys creating digital art with both local and international friends as well as acting in musicals and plays as part of the SCHS drama department. Passion for acting has led Kaitlyn to discover an enjoyment in all things theatre, including backstage activities. They are a part of various clubs, such as Drama Club, ASL Club, Serenity Club, and Linguistics Club.
